Scott Anderson gives performances and lectures about the guitar and music history, and also acts as a consultant to teachers in the area of guitar pedagogy. He is currently working on publishing music educational materials. A college guitar instructor for 7 years and secondary school teacher for 25 years, Scott is now doing private guitar instruction at Brindley's Music Center. Six of Scott’s former students have been signed to major labels, including Jim Adkins of Jimmy Eat World and Chris Thorn of Blind Melon.
