Guitar Tommy

Tommy began his love of music at an early age. When he was 9 years old, he lived behind a music store. Every day he heard great music from that store. Also, his Dad played guitar and his Step Dad played percussion. These factors had a direct influence on his desire to learn music.

Tommy graduated early from high school so he could continue to expand his musical knowledge and understanding. He attended Mesa Community College and was on the Presidential Honor Role. He studied music theory and classical guitar with George Summers. He was always working to improve his skill level and knowledge of his instrument and music.

After completing 5 semesters at MCC, Tommy went on to attend Musician’s Institute in California. He then returned to Arizona and attended ASU majoring in music theory. At ASU, he earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Management and a Masters Degree in Business Administration.

After college, Tommy joined the Scottsdale Unified School District as a music teacher, general music instructor, band director, and orchestra teacher.

Tommy returned to Chandler after leaving the Scottsdale School District and began working full time as a private teacher.
