Dylan has been involved in music since elementary school, and has dedicated over 11 years to various brass instruments such as the trumpet, trombone, and tuba. He continues his practice at Chandler-Gilbert Community College, where he has a focus in jazz, latin, and brass ensemble groups. Throughout his highschool education, he had also been involved in multiple concert bands and wind ensembles. Dylan’s perspective of music is open-ended and continues to expand as he works with many college professors and mentors, such as Adam Roberts, Vince Thefain, and others.
Dylan continues to immerse himself in the vast community of music in the valley, and gathers insight and knowledge through many different genres, artists, and performances in the area. He constantly is expanding his education, and applying those skills and techniques he has learnt into his playing and teaching. In his lessons, he will move at the pace of the learner, and will push for expression and confidence in their sound.
